Meet Your Hosts & Facilitators: Experts Guiding Your Wellness Journey

We've handpicked a team to bring you the ultimate in self-care activities and nurturing. Here's what — and who — is coming up at the events and workshops in our Wellbeing At Home series.

Kate Henley

Kate holds a BSc in Acupuncture and has been in private practice since 1998. She is a holistic practitioner who's particularly interested in the emotional role of 'dis-ease' and uses acupuncture, massage, and dietary therapy as part of her treatment. Kate has more than two decades of experience in Chinese Medicine and supporting individuals to re-balance their physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Kate will join us to guide us in Qi Gong Movement. Qi Gong is a traditional Chinese practice that combines physical posture, breathing techniques, and focused intention to cultivate and balance the flow of Qi (pronounced 'chee').

Kate will also give us a talk about seasonal eating, living in tune with nature and adopting simple practices to find fulfilling purposeful relationships and lives. We will focus on the autumn season.

Claudia Roth

Claudia comes from a corporate work background, and fully understands the challenges most people face in today’s modern world. Several years ago, she traded in her role as a senior executive and her globe-trotting career for a holistic lifestyle. Claudia has since become a transformational coach, author and retreat facilitator as well as providing the most wonderful sound baths with her gong. She now dedicates her time to helping individuals reach their best potential and understand who they really are and what's important to them.

Claudia will bring us pre-sleep sound healing, meditations and a journalling workshop — you will also receive a copy of her book The Self Love Journal.

Stella Photi

Stella combined her passion for preventative health with her extensive travel industry experience to create award-winning specialist travel company, Wellbeing Escapes, in 2005. This is when her quest began to make healthy breaks accessible and to offer down-to-earth objective advice on a wide range of wellbeing experiences.

In 2020 when Coronavirus emerged Stella introduced the Wellbeing At Home community. The community was launched to help people learn about preventative health on a physical, mental and emotional level and to empower them to take charge of their own health. For over three years, Stella has broadcast free weekly educational talks with top doctors, nutritionists, life coaches and a whole host of wellbeing specialists to her audience, as her way of being of service at a time of need.

Stella will guide us through a workshop with tools to manage stress, including the HeartMath Experience she has trained in to help people regain balance.

Sophie Benge

Sophie works with women to guide them to reconnect with their innate feminine nature as a source of healing and happiness. She combines 30 years’ experience working in the international wellness industry as an author, journalist and consultant, as well as what she has learnt on her personal journey.

On this retreat she offers her unique ‘Meditation in Touch’ treatment, that takes her to spas around the world. It’s a slow, deep massage where she travels sensitively round your abdomen, chest, neck, shoulders, head and face to release tension and restore energy flow. She says, "Our bodies that store so much, yearn to be heard as much as we do."

Sophie's treatments can be booked separately at an extra cost. We will have limited slots for treatments so we recommend pre-booking.

Tara Mcleod Williams

Tara is part of the team at Wellbeing Escapes and also a qualified yoga teacher with particular experience and training in yoga therapy and treating trauma through yoga. Tara will guide us through a restorative yoga class and some breathing and grounding techniques.

Beth Lynch

Beth has over 30 years of experience as a massage therapist and will be on hand to provide relaxing, therapeutic massages to soothe the body and mind for those who would like to book a treatment with her (at an extra cost). We will have limited slots for treatments so we recommend pre-booking.
