Wellness
Palace Merano has created an unique concept which they call 'The Revital Method'. The experts at Palace Merano are true pioneers of proactive and preventative health, and Detox, Prevention and Healthy Ageing are the foundation of their method. There are five departments at Palace Merano working in synergy to create bespoke and result driven programmes:

The method is not a one size fits all approach and each guest has their various treatments and activities adapted to their individual needs. The goal of all the programmes is to:

This is done by using Western medical practices which are combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Palace Merano has an in-house laboratory with the cutting edge diagnostics tools and various tests are available. There is an ongoing investment in medical equipment to ensure that the offering keeps up with the latest developments in the health prevention arena.
The spa has recently undertaken a significant refurbishment in 2023 offering greater comfort, larger and brighter treatments rooms. A large, heated, outdoor pool operates between May and October. The heated indoor pool is available for use all year long. There is a well equipped 162 SqM gym overlooking the park and an array of outdoor activities are also available.
There is also a hairdresser corner at the spa.

What’s on the menu
The team of expert chefs guarantee that all ingredients are top quality and local and seasonal produce are used when possible. Thanks to the delicate preparation and innovative cooking methods, the nutritional elements in foods are preserved, together with all their flavour.
There are two diets available - The Revital Detox diet - where the goal is to purify and rebalance the body functions and eliminate toxins and excess fluids. This is a mainly vegetarian meal plan and the menu is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and fibres. After the medical consultation, this plan can also include a liquid diet day based on fresh vegetable juices. This diet plan is suitable for everyone. Weight loss might be a side effect but not the main goal of this diet.
The Bio light menu offers healthy and light dishes taking inspiration from the Mediterranean tradition but using innovative and healthier cooking methods. This diet can serve as a model for you and can be adopted in your daily life after the retreat.
Palace Merano also runs a weekly cookery classes so you can learn and apply these healthy practices at home.
There are two Restaurants respectively named “Table du Palace” and “Terrasse Dietetique” and during the summer months, meals can be served on the terrace. There is also The Tea Bar and a Lounge bar with evening musical entertainment.
Location
Merano benefits from an unique microclimate as it’s located in the most northerly part of the alps. The temperature is generally warm throughout the year and rarely sees snow despite being surrounding by lofty mountain peaks.
Nearest airport
Nearest airport is Bolzano and the transfer takes approximately 30 minutes. You can also fly to Verona or Innsbruck, which are located approximately two hours from Palace Merano. Venice airport is also accessible with the transfer taking approximately three hours,
You can also arrive by train to Merano station.
There are plenty of low cost flights to Verona or Innsbruck from all major UK airports.
Palace Merano offers a shuttle transfers from/to Venice airport on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with 7:30am departure from Merano to Venice airport and 1pm departure from Venice airport to Merano.

Palace Merano does accept children, however due to the nature of this hotel we do not recommend taking kids with you. Ball and noise generating games are not allowed.
