Excellent retreat highly recommend and using wellness escapes made everything easy

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 day Wellness Retreat. The property is stunning and within a great location, close to the beach area and there is a walking track directly in front of the property. . The staff are also extremely helpful immediately upon arrival until the moment you leave. The rooms are very luxurious and comfortable. The only difficulty I encountered was that the main language was Spanish. There were some issues in corresponding with some members of staff for this reason. This also caused some issues as the Treatment plan was provided in Spanish and Google Translate was needed. Further, there were some difficulties during the Spa treatments for this reason. If I were to make a suggestion it would be for the persons travelling solo, it would be great if a group table during mealtimes could be arranged, to avoid any loneliness for those travelling alone. However, I will definitely be returning. I left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed which has helped me greatly. Overall a great experience!

I signed up for the weight loss light 7 day program, but stayed for 9 nights, which allowed me to spread the program out. It was very intensive, but also very effective. The programed diet was enjoyable and allowed a significant weight loss. The exercise classes were short but good. The treatments interesting. The staff in the hotel, restaurant and spa were unfailingly helpful and friendly, even when they spoke little english. The room (superior) was terrific. See sunrise photo from my balcony. The only negative was having to constantly re-sign into the wifi. Also I should have learned a little Spanish. I will go again.

I did the 7 day "light" weight loss program. It was quite intense, though talking to people on the medium and intense programs, it really was light! The program was very effective in meeting my goals, and everyone in the hotel and spa was helpful, friendly and caring. They do have a number of staff in all areas with good English, but exercising with trainers who had no English (and I had no Spanish) was interesting and usually both fun and effective. I upgraded to a superior room (with kettle) and had a lovely balcony overlooking the bay and town. Great wardrobe space to do a full unpack.

I loved my stay. The property was beautiful. The program and care was excellent and the food as well. the Thalasso package- light weight loss- and extensive exercise programme suited me 😊

I spent 3 weeks at Palasiet, during which I enjoyed a tasty, healthy diet and lots of physical activities. There were many treatments to burn fat and tone the body, including lasers and algae and seawater treatments. I left there having lost a lot of weight, a smaller waist size and feeling great. The staff at the hotel and spa were incredibly knowledgable and courteous. The fitness team and dieticians were worthy of a professional sports team. I cannot recommend a stay at the Palasiet enough.

I was very pleased overall with my stay at El Palasiet. It was almost entirely what I was hoping for, which is lucky when you’re visiting somewhere for the first time. The spa treatment programme was very good, as were the hotel facilities, and I left after a week feeling refreshed, physically and mentally relaxed. It’s worth highlighting that it’s not brilliantly set up for non-Spanish speakers (I couldn’t join every single class), but in general staff went to a lot of effort to accommodate this and I didn’t feel it detracted significantly from my experience. There was one unfortunate incident involving a member of staff and my purse. As nothing was lost in the end, I don’t feel it’s fair to say more. The management took it very seriously: I was satisfied this was a very unusual incident for the hotel and was able to resume my trip satisfactorily, though it did take the edge off slightly. Despite this, I would recommend the El Palasiet to others hoping for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings, with an excellent spa and thalassotherapy experience, friendly staff and good facilities.

Lovely staff, great location, very clean, big room, proper service across every level. Food plentiful and very well presented even on fitness programme, perhaps a little bland. Lack of speaking Spanish was a minor hindrance and not anything major. Good classes. A couple of things could have been explained more clearly but overall a great experience and definitely going back.

My third visit and ideal for my current health needs. Friendly, expert staff, top treatments and good food made for a much needed health boost.

I'd been before so knew what to expect.

I love this hotel so much. I was here last autumn too, and several of the staff remembered me. The sea views, location and rooms are just perfect and the spa and treatments are just wonderful. I like the approach in the spa and the range of treatments available is really good. The food is excellent; delicious, nutritious and healthy (but always with treats available on the menu for those not watching their waistlines).

It was good but the food could have been a little more varied.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful rooms. The thalasso spa was wonderful and the treatments were first class. It's in a beautiful location and even so late in the year it was lovely to sit outside in the sun. The beach is also beautiful. The food is exceptional. I never felt hungry or deprived even though I was largely eating the more restricted menu. There was plenty of choice and always something good to eat. It was a lovely holiday and I will probably be back next year!

very nice hotel; good food, lovely surroundings and good service. my only compliant is that I paid for a transfer from the airport as part of the package. the taxi did not turn up and i had to ring the uk and after about an hour a taxi arrived. when i raised this with the hotel they told me that it was the taxi firm not them. no apology and this is not an appropriate way to proceed. the hotel should have taken responsibility
