The spa facilities are built around seawater-based therapies, with a thermal circuit that feeds an ocean-facing outdoor pool, hydro-massage baths, Vichy showers and seaweed and sea mud wraps. The medical team, including doctors and nutritionists, supports guests with tailored programmes centred on everything from weight loss to menopause, while the rest of the stay is kept simple and relaxed.
Healthy Mediterranean cuisine is served in the hotel’s bright and airy restaurant, where wraparound windows make the most of the surrounding garden and ocean views. Rooms follow a similar style, with floor-to-ceiling balcony doors and soothing neutral décor.
Guests of all ages are welcome here, but the hotel’s thalassotherapy focus means it tends to attract mainly adults. There's no children’s club or babysitting service.
Palasiet has specialised in thalassotherapy since 1970 and is widely regarded as one of Spain’s leading centres. Using the natural benefits of seawater, its therapies gently support both physical and mental wellbeing, helping to ease stress, encourage better sleep and improve circulation. Treatments can also support respiratory health, skin conditions, menopause relief and weight-management goals as part of a structured wellness stay. A supportive medical team, including doctors and dieticians, is on-hand to guide you throughout.
Wellness facilities include a seawater thermal indoor pool, salt sauna, hammam, vaporium, massaging waterfalls, hydro-massage baths, Vichy showers and cabins for seaweed and sea mud wraps. If you’re not on a programme, you can still access the thermal circuit for €20 per visit.
*Just so you know, classes are in Spanish. Ask us about private sessions with English-speaking instructors.
Palasiet is in laid-back Benicàssim on Spain’s Costa del Azahar, just a five-minute walk from the town’s tapas bars, shops and the beach. For a bigger city vibe, historic Castellón is around 30 minutes by car, while Valencia, birthplace of paella, is about an hour away.
Transfers from Valencia Airport take roughly one hour, and Castellón Airport is closer – around 30 minutes in the car.
