Annabelle review 15th June My first impression of the hotel was how big it was. The foyer was huge, a large open space that led to everywhere you need to go. The room, again, was large. It included the bed, a sofa, coffee table & two stools, which lead onto the balcony with an excellent view of the Ocean. The temperature each day was circa 35 degrees, very hot. However, the room was fully air conditioned, which made it quite comfortable. Put my factor 50 on each day and it was all good for the day. I enjoyed the spa treatments. One was changed on arrival from a Pilate to a training session. That was the first treatment I had and I learnt some good exercises with the trainer Chris. The massages were very good. Most were done by Kristina, who was excellent. She also did the facial, which was good, although I’m not really into the whole clay & cucumber thing. The treatments were all done by Wednesday, so I bought an extra massage on Thursday. They were that good. The food….the food was amazing. Every dish I had was delicious. Three on sites restaurants, of which two were open each day. In addition, I was informed that as the Almera hotel next door was part of the same chain, I could also use their restaurants. This made the choices plentiful. Each menu had several starters, mains & deserts to choose from. From that point of view, I felt quite spoilt. Some examples of the dishes I had were Prawn dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, sea bass cooked in a banana leaf & a couple of curries. I particularly enjoyed the desserts with my favourite being the Pear éclair. Of the three restaurants on site, I particularly liked the Ouranos restaurant. Situated on the top floor it had inside and balcony dining with a lovely view of the sea. It also has an open dining area on a separate level. The staff in the restaurant were excellent. In particular, Joanna, who was my server for a couple of my visits. The service of all the staff in the whole hotel was exemplary. I felt most welcome. I’m not much for the sun & due to the high UVs I went out for a walk every day at sunrise & again in the evening after dinner. Sunset was early at 8pm so I tended to miss the actual sunset. The morning walks were great. I visited the local Archaeological site and view some particularly good mosaics. The hotel is situated right next to the beach. The promenade is immediately out the back of the hotel. It runs for miles in each direction. I walked East from the hotel for about 30 mins & found myself halfway back to the airport! In summary, the whole experience was outstanding, however it was expensive. The holiday was better than last year, although not taking anything away from an amazing holiday at Paradise Plages. However, the previous year I went to Oceano in Tenerife & the Cyprus holiday was as good as that place. Yet Oceano was somewhat cheaper. This make me ask the question, although it was an amazing holiday, was it value for money and I am not sure. Having said that I still think I would go back. Maybe just the half board accommodation with no treatment pack so I could pick my own treatments when I get there.

Good facilities, choices and views! At reasonable low season prices with no Singles Supplement. Pleasant, helpful staff and an excellent location.

Annabelle is a fabulous hotel, excellent restaurants and service from hotel staff, I cannot fault it!

Hotel was lovely, with beautiful gardens with pools and a good location for the town and on the whole very good service. Rooms can be noisy from various bits of AC plant but hotel dealt with this very professionally.

Beautiful resort with incredible pools. The spa was also great. Great choice of options at breakfast and the room upgrade was an unexpected bonus. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and welcoming.
