This retreat is designed for those who want to experience the sights, sounds and scents of Greece while staying active and enjoying downtime in between.
You’ll explore a lesser-known stretch of coastline, where sleepy villages, soaring mountains and hidden beaches sit away from the usual tourist trails. Inspired by the lifestyles of the renowned Blue Zone, the retreat focuses on wellbeing through longevity, with a largely plant-based diet, daily guided hikes and restorative practices such as yoga and massage.
There are thoughtful cultural experiences to look forward to, as well, including a workshop exploring local myths, and visits to a traditional Greek fish taverna and organic farm.
This retreat is designed to keep you gently active and energised, without feeling like structured exercise takes over your day. Mornings begin with a yoga session to ease the body awake, followed by a healthy breakfast before heading out on guided hikes of around three to four hours through Pelion’s countryside. Afternoons are left free to rest, read, swim or simply switch off, with a second yoga session later in the day.
Yoga styles include Hatha, Restorative and Vinyasa Flow, with teachers offering modifications to suit individual levels, making the practice accessible for both beginners and more experienced guests.
The programme shifts with the seasons, and in October, mushroom and chestnut foraging becomes part of the experience, along with cooking sessions using local finds. All activities are flexible and suitable for different ages and fitness levels, with the option to sit out and relax whenever you like.
Groups are intentionally small, with a maximum of eight guests and a minimum of four.
*All activities are optional with no additional cost.
