Where is Wellbeing Escapes Retreat?
You will find our holistic retreat on the beautiful Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic. One of the reasons we chose the Dominican Republic is because of its all year round tropical climate. Whichever time of year you visit, you can expect temperatures to be around 30 degrees, perfect for taking a swim in the bright blue sea next to your accommodation. Despite being just a 10 minute boat ride from the well-loved Casa Del Campo resort, the Wellbeing Escapes Retreat is tucked away in a quiet spot with the only noises coming from the oceans waves and the local birds. To reach your tropical destination there are direct and regular British Airways flights that take you to Punta Cana, a 50 minute drive from your destination.
What’s on the menu at Wellbeing Escapes Retreat?
At this holistic retreat you will be treated to the local flavours, with ingredients being largely organic and sourced from the surrounding area. Your meals will be beautifully presented, intense in flavour, bright in colour and packed full of healing properties for you to kickstart your wellness journey. Whilst the majority of dishes are vegan and vegetarian, there is the option of freshly caught fish that can be requested from the local fisherman. At the end of your stay you will feel energised and detoxed. What’s more, at our Wellbeing Escapes Retreat there are healthy cookery classes so you can continue this feeling when you return home.

At our holistic retreat we use natural therapies such as herbal medicine, nutrition and massage to provide your body with the tools to self heal. Some of the treatments available at Wellbeing Escapes Retreat are Ayurvedic Massage, Prenatal Massage, Reflexology, Mud Cleanse, Organic Exfoliation and Hip Bath. After experiencing one of these treatments you will feel cleansed and refreshed and ready for whatever life throws at you. In conjunction with physical therapy, each guest will receive a personalised wellness consultation by Kyra, a Naturopathic Doctor and Ayurvedic practitioner. This will provide you with recommendations to aid you on your own journey to leave you leave you feeling healthy and happy.
Fitness at Wellbeing Escapes Retreat
Whilst this holistic retreat isn’t limited to just solo travellers, your itinerary can include a selection of group classes, perfect for getting fit and meeting new like-minded people. Start your day off with morning yoga and meditation, helping you to rise with the sunshine before breakfast. Bikes are also available at the resort for you to explore the botanical gardens and orchards on the 25 acres of land. If you explore the surrounding areas you will also find horse riding, surfing, paddle boarding, golf and private boat trips for whale watching.
