Grayshott Health Spa, once home to the British poet Alfred Lord Tennyson, offers a peaceful countryside escape perfect for some well-deserved time out. Set within a historic country house and surrounded by 47 acres of greenery in rural Surrey, it feels wonderfully secluded while still being within easy reach of Guildford and just over an hour from London.
During your stay, you can enjoy a range of treatments and therapies tailored to your wellbeing goals, explore the gardens or make the most of the spa facilities. Evenings are relaxed, with complimentary canapés and fruit cocktails served before talks, a film in the in-house cinema or simply some quiet time to unwind.
Just so you know, we no longer offer retreats at Grayshott Manor but can help with similar stays – click here to get in touch.

For a shorter break, the ‘Exclusive Wellbeing Booster’ is a two to five-night escape featuring a body composition analysis, massage, detoxifying body scrub, reflexology and access to daily classes such as Tai Chi, yoga, aqua fitness and total body HIIT.
Longer stays of four to seven nights offer a more in-depth approach. The ‘Exclusive Flexible Fitness’ programme includes daily guided activities and personal training, while other programmes are designed around specific needs, including stress relief, low mood, fatigue and major life changes.

Grayshott Health Spa is known for its holistic approach to wellbeing, with treatments designed to support both relaxation and long-term results. The award-winning spa offers a wide range of therapies, from traditional options like aromatherapy massage, dry flotation and hydrating body wraps, to natural health treatments such as Reiki, reflexology and lymphatic drainage. There’s also a selection of beauty treatments, including signature manicures and pedicures.
When you’re not in the treatment room, there’s lots more to enjoy. The spa facilities include steam rooms, saunas and dedicated relaxation spaces, while more active options range from a gym and tennis courts to a nine-hole golf course. For something gentler, there are both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a spa pool – ideal for unwinding or easing tired muscles.

Grayshott Health Spa places real focus on food and nutrition, with the Head Chef and dietician creating two distinct approaches: spa cuisine and health cuisine. Expect balanced, flavourful dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients rather than anything restrictive.
Spa cuisine is served in The Dining Room overlooking the gardens, with buffet-style breakfast and lunch, followed by an à la carte dinner. The Bubbles Bar is open throughout the day for juices, coffee and wine if you fancy something more relaxed.
For those on structured programmes such as detox, meals are taken in the Conservatory Restaurant, where health cuisine is designed to support gut health and overall wellbeing. There’s also an educational element, with talks from specialists to help you understand the approach.
To take things a step further, you can book a one-to-one session with a nutritionist, who will create a personalised plan to continue your progress once you’re home.
