When to go

Temperatures are fairly constant throughout the year and the island has 2 seasons. The best time to visit in November to April. The wet season is from May to October.

What we love

There are 96 beachfront and watery villas, some with private pools. Each accommodation is carefully designed and made from sustainable materials to blend within and respect the nature.  Some rooms can accommodate families but some are perfect for couples seeking privacy. Sea view is guaranteed and each room has an outdoor bathroom, private sun deck and outside dining area.

Lagoon Water Villa

These villas measure approximately 108 m2 and are located in the sea with lagoon views. Dive straight into the water from your villa! They have all-glass bathtub and dining table. Enjoy outdoor relaxing platform with daybed and over water netting.

Lagoon Beach Villa

These villas are facing towards the lagoon of the island and are measure 220 m2. Villas have a private access to the beach and private garden has daybeds. Real highlight is the upper dining deck at the treetop level and viewing platform.

These villas measure approximately 108 m2 and are located a little further out into the sea. Enjoy outdoor relaxing platform with daybed and over water netting.

Ocean Beach Villa

These villas measure approximately 220 m2 and are situated just a few metres from the beach with the private beach access. Villa has an uninterupeted ocean views and have private garden.

Laamu Water Villa

These villas measure approximately 108 m2 and are located towards the end of the jetty, futher away from the main island. There is only sea to be seen all around in these villas, really making you feel as though you’re on a private island. Some rooms have a private pool - extra charge.

What’s on the menu

Food and dining at Laamu takes the best advantages of the island and location serving fresh fish, sea food as well as meats. Organic meals are also served.  You will find a number of dining options as well as bars. Japanese sushi and sashimi in served at Zen and for a nice cocktail and ambient music (resident DJ set) head to Chill Bar. In addition, you will find a wine cellar, ice cream parlour and Chilli table where you can enjoy 5-course chili-based menu.

Nearest airport

Nearest airport is Male International airport in Maldives. The sea plane is approximately 35 minutes from Male airport followed by 15 min speedboat ride to the island. What a great sightseeing opportunity!
