About Sun Gardens Dubrovnik

The Sun Gardens Dubrovnik is a village-like resort on Orasac’s pristine waterfront, spread over 22 hectares of palms and cypress trees, and overlooking the Adriatic Sea. It’s only a 20-minute drive, or a short boat ride, from Dubrovnik’s mesmerising Old Town, so you’re well-placed for exploring. That said, there’s plenty to enjoy if you’d rather stay put.

The resort’s spa is one of the largest on the Dalmatian coast, with thermal pools, a hydrotherapy lagoon, sauna, steam room and wellness areas for deep relaxation. There's a lengthy activities offering, too – choose from the likes of tennis, cycling and watersports.

Elsewhere, you’ll find a beachfront promenade with an impressive 16 bars and restaurants, serving everything from Mediterranean to Croatian cuisine. Also tucked among the greenery are three swimming pools positioned to make the most of the sea views, with two especially for children.

Speaking of little ones, they're very welcome here. Supervised Mini and Junior Clubs run from late May to mid-September, while Baby and Tween Clubs are available during the high season. Babysitting can be arranged on request from late May to mid-September.

Wellness at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik

There's a range of wellness programmes to choose from here, dedicated to fitness, tennis and general wellbeing – plus a couple that weave in excursions to local hotspots.

The Spa by OCCO is one of the largest on the Dalmatian coast, spanning 3,000 metres. It’s had top level industry recognition, and deservedly so – including awards from Spa Traveller and World Luxury Spa Awards for Best Luxury Resort Spa in Croatia.

Facilities include an 18-metre lagoon pool with underwater vitality loungers, a hydrotherapy pool with therapeutic jets, a thermal suite complete with traditional coal and salt saunas, a hammam, aromatherapy steam room, a cold plunge pool, lifestyle showers, and a tepidarium with stone lounge chairs.

Spa guests can also enjoy two dedicated couple’s suites, a range of individual treatment rooms, and all-important relaxation zones – including poolside loungers and a sun terrace with Adriatic views. Lastly, there’s a huge fitness centre with top-of-the-range equipment.

Children under 16 are welcome to use the indoor lagoon pool under parental supervision.
