Wellbeing Family Holiday at Paradis Plage
Imi Ouaddar, Agadir, Morocco
Overview
Paradis Plage Resort was the first surf, yoga and spa eco-resort in Morocco. It’s located right on the beach near the village of Taghazout, facing the Atlantic Ocean and enjoys space and tranquillity, yet is just 25 minutes by car from Agadir. Participate in daily hatha, vinyasa or yin yoga classes at the beach front yoga shala, take a surfing lesson at the ‘Ripcurl’ surf school or relax with spa treatments. The great thing about this family-friendly resort is that it enjoys 340 days of sunshine each year so it’s an all-year-round choice. If you’re looking for a chilled-out, beach-front holiday, which is ideal for children and teenagers and offers both yoga and surfing, plus a complimentary kids club, then Paradis Plage is for you.

What’s on the menu
Paradis Plage has a very simple philosophy; to serve organic and locally sourced food as much as possible. Deliciously fresh fish is sourced from the fisherman’s village adjacent to the resort. There are healthy as well as not so healthy options on the menu so this isn’t the place to detox or lose weight. What's more is that your little ones can choose from an optional children's healthy menu, nutritionally balanced and carefully designed by Wellbeing Escapes. Alcohol is served if you fancy a cocktail too. It takes a long time to prepare these authentic recipes, so be sure to place your order for these Moroccan slow-cook dishes at least three hours in advance.
Location
Paradis Plage Resort is located directly on 5 km of sandy beach in Taghazout, away from the main tourist traps. For shopping, head to Agadir (20 min away) as there are only a few small local shops within walking distance.
Nearest airport
The transfer time from Agadir Airport is approximately 1 hour by car. Flight from London takes about 3 hours and 40 minutes. Flights are not daily, especially during winter months. We've Been Here - Paradis Plage Resort in Morocco

Great resort, good facilities. Was unable to accommodate and use full PT package purchased within time period. Did not want to use SUP so should have been given another option. Food choices being vegan and gluten free were extremely limited.

Amazing facilities - incredible rooms. Staff were delightful. Abdullah the Personal Trainer was fantastic. Only gripe was the restaurant food was on the expensive side - even as a Londoner! But captive market and all...

Total paradise as the name suggest. I was travelling solo but felt at ease with the yoga and spa on offer. Weather was perfect.

Great place, lovely staff, the yoga teacher was absolutely great! :)
My only grumble (and I’m reaching here) I would advise don’t request a twin room as the single beds are size of the sun lounger beds., you’re better off sharing a king bed with your friend. (If travelling as friends etc) The food was ok, and there were lots of stray dogs /cats but they were all so sweet natured and lovely and in the main looked after by guests and staff. There’s also a family of wild boars that live on campus but they’re great & they leave ppl alone - all in all a wonderful resort :)

Excellent hotel, lovely location on the beach. Staff all very friendly. Great yoga studio. The yoga instructor Karsten was excellent. Gym was nice but very small. Lovely buffet breakfast and nice choice of dinner options. Rooms large, clean and plenty of storage. Modern bathroom. Hotel was very dog and cat friendly. There were a lot of them on site and had they free rein of all public rooms including restaurants. Not a problem for me as they were very calm, clean and non-aggressive with no barking. But if you’re allergic to cats and dogs or very nervous around them please be aware.

Fab location, cool vibe, lovely staff and top drawer yoga classes and spa. This was a terrific holiday and was a perfect way to relax and chill. We really enjoyed our break and the recommendation from my sister. If you are in to yoga Carsten is brilliant. A truly beautiful soul and gifted teacher who brought wisdom and kindness to every class.

Paradis Plage was excellent. Fantastic yoga, beautiful seaside location, great food, friendly guests (including many solo travellers like me) safe and comfortable accommodation. Would definitely go again with the yoga being the major draw: Carson the yoga teacher is wonderful and tailors the class to all levels.

Fantastic... I was worried as I had read reviews and it seemed that they were mainly in French/Moroccan and the pictures do not do the place justice! I had a fabulous time, the staff all spoke perfect English and the apartment and terrace was AMAZING as were the yoga classes which I did three times a day and the breakfasts which were included had lots of lovely fruit and hot and cold options as well as juices etc. I am surprised there aren't more reviews about this place.. I definitely recommend and it was a perfect escape from the heat of Marrakech. Outside the resort is very busy as it is peak time for the Moroccans so all the locals flock here .. but I stayed in the resort most of the time, except to visit a local seafood restaurant which is only 5 minutes away - Happy Calamar. They pack stuff for you so you can take it back to your apartment and it is excellent value for money!

Paradis Plage is a beautiful hotel right on a stunning beach. We wanted a yoga holiday and it offered that and much more. The yoga teacher Karsten was amazing and inspirational, the yoga studio right on the stunning beach, with the sound of waves and birds to accompany our practice. The hotel also had lots of other facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only downside for us was that they have very little single accommodation and few twin beds - and as two mature single women we didn’t want to share a bed! But thankfully the hotel was able to rectify this by upgrading us to a premium suite.
