The retreat promotes holistic wellbeing, with a riverfront spa sanctuary offering Balinese treatments, bodywork and energy healing in open-air pavilions overlooking the water. There's also a jungle-fringed swimming pool and open-air yoga and meditation spaces.
Everything here is rooted in Balinese tradition, from plant-based cuisine inspired by local ingredients to treatments using oils and remedies prepared on-site. The experience is shaped by practitioners trained in traditional healing lineages, with an approach that's both grounded and connected to cultural heritage.
Fivelements is a family-friendly resort. As well as a special children’s menu, they offer treatments for children at the spa. There are wide spaces in which children can play, and babysitters can be arranged.
There's a holistic approach to healing here, designed to support physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Therapists are authentic Balinese healers, drawing on ancient wisdom passed down through direct lineages. Treatments include deep bodywork, meditation, pranic energy healing and chakra balancing, with all programmes personalised to each guest’s individual needs.
Retreats are built around a combination of Balinese healing rituals for purification and balance, living foods for nourishment and energy, and sacred arts to support inner strength and alignment.
Beauty treatments take inspiration from traditional village remedies, using the natural healing properties of plants. All treatments are freshly prepared on-site, with indigenous ingredients such as frangipani blossoms, aloe vera, coconut oil and salt crystals.
The retreat has just 20 rooms, traditional in style, with rich textiles and carefully chosen antiques. Each has a spacious terrace overlooking the sacred Ayung River and an open-air bathtub with chromotherapy lighting.
Transfer time from Denpasar's Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport take around one hour by car.
