Wellness
COMO Shambhala Retreat at COMO Maalifushi goes hand-in-hand with the private island resort experience. Treatments are based on Asian traditions infused with COMO's knowledge and expertise. Spa menu offers some all-time favorites as well as more targeted treatments. Massage therapies offer variety of techniques ranging from relaxing to invigorating. Body treatments will help you to tone, detoxify and re-vitalise your body. There is a separate spa menu for men and also menu for kids.Consultations with COMO experts, who can guide you into a state of greater wellness, can be arranged. Internationally accredited teachers are also available upon request and can set up a personal training session, yoga, core connection class based on Pilates, pranayama breathing exercise or meditation.
Spa facilities include 8 treatment rooms which are set over the water, stream room (separate for male and female), sauna, Jacuzzi, open air yoga pavilion and a fitness centre.

COMO Maalifushi is the first boutique hotel in the Maldives designed by Japanese architect Koichiro Ikebuchi. His sensitive approach to nature and respect for cultural authenticity is reflected in uncomplicated and compact design. All accommodation units are built using the New Zealand's pine with Kajan thatched roofs. Floor-to-ceiling windows open to substantial decks. This décor brings the sea, sand and sky into the heart of every room.
Suites are spacious and private. Floor to ceiling French doors opens up to private terrace with a plunge pool with loungers.
Bedroom has a living area and there is also an outdoor bathroom.

What’s on the menu
Resort has 3 food outlets: MADI which takes its inspiration from the region’s fresh, tropical produce and abundant seafood. The food is light and full of flavour. TAI serves great Japanese and showcases sustainable caught seafood from the Indian Ocean. THILA is an informal and relaxed Maldives restaurant with salads, freshly cooked seafood and pizzas.
Flexibility is key, local chefs always aim to accommodate food intolerances, the preferences of children, and discerning palates full of expectation.
COMO is famous for its cuisine. It offers a unique nutritional concept that includes organic ingredients rich in living enzymes, vitamins and sea minerals while still delivering on flavors. Food is raw, steamed or grilled for maximum health benefits. Chefs make ample use of the tandoor, a type of Indian oven that allows for fat-free cooking whilst introducing a wonderful charcoal flavor.

Nearest airport
The nearest international airport is Male (MLE).From Malé airport you will have to take a sea plane. This transfer will take about 60 minutes and can be organised via us. Please contact us for details and prices.
Airport representative will wait at the arrival gate and escorts you to the seaplane check-in counter. Please be advised that the seaplane transfer operates during daytime only. Guests landing after 3.30pm will be required to spend one night at Male, prior to transferring to Maalifushi the next day.
Families, Children & Infants
Resorts welcomes all travellers. There is a wide range of exciting activities for children as well as kids club. Spa is accessible from 16 years of age.
