About Minos Palace Resort

As far as locations go, Minos Palace Resort certainly delivers – it’s on a peninsula overlooking a Blue Flag beach and the Mediterranean Sea, nestled among pine trees and olive groves. The interiors are just as impressive. Crisp and minimalist, hallmarks include limewashed walls, a neutral colour palette, and contemporary works of art made from natural woods. It’s an adults-only resort, so peace and quiet is a given.

At the heart of it all is the NAO Longevity Hub, a cutting-edge wellbeing concept that brings together ancient Greek wisdom and modern science. Built around the four pillars of Nutrition, Movement, Sleep and Self-Mastery, NAO offers personalised programmes, advanced diagnostics, and a wide range of therapies to address the effects of ageing. You can also enjoy yoga, fitness classes and hydrotherapy.

At mealtimes, there are delicious Cretan dishes to choose from – including nutrient-rich creations with ingredients sourced from the resort’s gardens. By day, you can focus on wellbeing or relax by the outdoor pool, and by night you can relax with a sundowner, DJ sets, and the gentle sounds of the Mediterranean Sea.

Just so you know, Minos Palace is an adults only hotel.

Wellness at Minos Palace Resort

NAO is Minos Palace’s signature wellbeing method, inspired by the Greek word ‘nao’, meaning, ‘to flow’. Drawing inspiration from water as the essence of life, the approach blends ancient wisdom with cutting-edge science in the field of longevity. Built around four pillars: Nutrition, Sleep, Movement and Self-Mastery, it aims to slow and even reverse the ageing process through personalised programmes ranging from one day to two weeks.

Guests undergo detailed diagnostics (DNA, metabolic analysis, HRV, body scans, antioxidant testing) and follow tailored plans that include treatments such as cryotherapy, red light therapy, neuromodulation and vibroacoustic therapy. These are combined with emotional wellbeing sessions built on the HeartMath system, including meditation and breathwork, yoga, journalling and sound healing.

For those pampering, there's a wide selection of body treatments, massages and facials. The hydrotherapy circuit, meanwhile, features a vitality pool, infrared sauna with a Himalayan salt wall, hot and cold plunge pools and an emotional shower (extra cost). The resort also offers a fitness centre and tennis court.

What’s on the menu?

Wellbeing is woven into every aspect of Minos Palace – and the dining concept is no exception. Meals are fresh, simple and natural, inspired by traditional recipes and crafted with home-grown produce largely sourced from the resort’s own gardens. The team of chefs has collaborated closely with the NAO wellness experts to design nutrient-rich menus that support long-term health. That said, guests are free to enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail alongside their meal – balance is very much part of the philosophy here!

There are two restaurants and two bars to choose from, along with an organic herbal and vegetable garden. Guests can also take part in cooking classes, mixology workshops, and a hands-on vegetable garden experience. Non-alcoholic drinks are available, too.

Your accommodation at Minos Palace Resort

There are 150 rooms, bungalows, and suites, including the newly introduced Blue Lagoon category, where private pools extend into a larger interconnected lagoon-style water experience, blending a sense of privacy with effortless connection. Designed in soft, neutral tones that echo the surrounding landscape, each space feels calm and peaceful. Plus, each room has stunning views of either Mirabello Bay or the Mediterranean horizon.
