The resort is separated into two distinct structures with their own facilities:
Zulal Serenity is for guests over the age of 16 and is designed for a private and calm atmosphere that allows for a transformational experience.
Zulal Discovery offers a lighter wellness experience and are for adults who want to have a healthy holiday without a health related goal or for families that want to have a wellbeing holiday together.

Wellness
The Zulal Wellness philosophy is blending the traditional Arabic and Islamic healing with traditional holistic remedies. Discovery retreat is aimed to set the foundation for people who are looking to begin their journey towards a healthy lifestyle. All Discovery retreats offer a safe space to explore your internal wellbeing. Thanks to generous activity schedule, dietary and treatment programmes, you will return to your normal lives fitter, mentally stronger and more emotionally fulfilled.The spa menu is a great blend of massages, body treatment, energetic treatments to remove blockages, facials and therapeutic movement sessions.
There is a separate indoor pool for men and women and an ozone-treated outdoor swimming pool. You can also enjoy a man-made lagoon that runs through the Zulal Discovery wing.
There are separate sauna and steam rooms for men and women and male and female gyms and spaces for private movement classes as well as studios for yoga, Pilates, dance, stretching and aerobics.
The group activity schedule is very generous offering variety of fitness classes as well as change to spend time outside in the nature with stand up paddle, kayaking or island walk activities.

All 120 rooms and suites located in Discovery wing purposefully designed for families and the interior style is blending well with the traditional Qatari village morifs promoting clean lines and natural textures. Rooms are located between the desert, sea and resort's lagoon and each room offers views of the nature.

What’s on the menu
The restaurants are divided between the adults only block Serenity or the families block Discovery and you can choose to eat in several food outlets. It can be fine dining, beach side cafe or an all-day family restaurant. There are specif menus designed for children with international and Arabic cuisine.

Nearest airport
The nearest airport is Doha which is 120 km away and the transfer takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.There are frequent direct flights from the UK to Doha provided by Qatar Airways or British Airways. Flight time is approximately 7 hours.

Resort does welcome kids and families. Families are separated from single visitors to ensure everyone's comfort. Family side of the resort consists of 120 rooms and suites. Families can enjoy a dedicated wellness programme Discovery which is suitable for all ages.
