Wellness
Each stay at Six Senses Vana includes full board nutrition, wellness screening and medical consultation, access to daily group activities and daily health retreat programme with treatments. Every retreat differs depending on how long you stay, how deep you wish to go and the level of support or independence you need. Each retreat is personalised with doctors planning your agenda after the arrival consultation and screening. Six Senses Vana offers various healing traditions such as Ayurveda, Tibetan medicine and natural healing therapies. as well as acupuncture, reflexology, realignment and pampering treatments.
The minimum stay is 3 nights but some retreats require a longer commitment - Panchakarma 21 nights, Ayurveda & Weight loss 14 nights, but these stays can bring a deep transformation.
Spa facilities include wellness centre, Ayurveda centre, Tibetan healing centre, Natural healing therapies centre, indoor heated pool, outdoor heated pool, hot tub, watsu pool, steam room and ice fountain. In addition there is a fitness room, meditation cave, yoga studios and pavilion, tennis court, padel court and badminton court.You can also join group activities running from 7am to 7pm. Each activity is crafted to provide a meaningful and transformative experience, while equipping you with valuable tools and insights to take back home and incorporate into your onwards wellness journey.

Your stay will include your attire to wear while at Six Senses Vana - footwear and a fresh set of loose-fitting, organic cotton kurta pajamas with a choice of beautiful brightly colored silk scarves.

The Vana Suite has a kitchenette, dining room, treatment room and sundeck with a plunge pool with 180 degree views of the surrounding hills and sal forest. There is a separate meditation room inspired by Buddhist philosophies and featuring paintings of the Medicine Buddha to promote health and healing.

What’s on the menu
The cuisine follows the - Eat With Six Senses principles - using local sourced, seasonally produced, natural and sustainable ingredients. Less is more. Menus are not prescriptive (unless it is essential for a particular retreat) and you can make your choices according to nutritional values provided on the menus. Meals will be the highlight of your retreat with fragrant yet not overly spiced curries and naturally sweet dishes. With buffet lunches and a la carte dinners you will never go hungry yet will be able to shift some excess weight.
Vegan, vegetarian and allergy friendly options are available and all meat and fish is mindfully sourced. The hotel works with local farmers who supply pulses, milk, tofu, cheese, vegetables and mushrooms. The hotel grows as many of their own varieties of vegetables, salads, and herbs as possible. Soya products used in the kitchens are made from certified organic soya grown in Uttarakhand.
The retreat programmes include all cuisine - breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. You will also enjoy variety of teas, some more traditional which might help you to balance your dosha, as well as some more exotic flavours!There are 2 restaurants at the resort as well as tea and juice bar.
Alcohol is limited to wine and sake at dinner time only. Alcohol cannot be served in the rooms and guests are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages to the retreat.



Location
Various expert-led excursions can be organised, so you can experience the Rishikesh Aarti, nature trails and hikes in Mussoorie and the Uttrakhand foothills. You can also visit Santala Devi Temple, Barlow Ganj and the Jabarkhet Nature Reserve.
Nearest airport
The nearest airport is Dehradun which is about a 60 minute car ride away.Domestic airlines run frequent flights to Dehradun from Delhi or Mumbai.
If you feel more adventurous you can arrive by train too - Dehradun railway station is 30 minute drive. There are 2 daily trains and 2 overnight trains from New Delhi Railway Station. Both trains take about 6 hours to cover the distance between Delhi and Dehradun.

Families, Children & Infants
Children aged 0-5 years can stay in a Casa and Vana suite only. Children aged 6-11 years can stay in any accommodation.
