Fontsanta Hotel Thermal Spa & Wellness

The name Fontsanta comes from the Roman ‘Font Santa’, meaning holy fountain – a nod to the thermal waters that rise naturally from underground at 38°C. Rich in minerals, including sodium and chlorine, the water is distinctly salty, with traces of magnesium, calcium, sulphur, fluorine, and potassium. Long valued for their restorative properties, these waters are known to support circulation, ease muscular tension and help soothe both skin and respiratory concerns.

The spa is laid out across a series of calming spaces. The Bathing Area centres around a thermal pool with underwater jets, alongside a Finnish sauna and steam room. In the Tonification Area, you’ll find an ice fountain, bucket shower and a sensation shower. There’s also a quiet room for relaxation, as well as a more secluded space with water beds. You'll spot thoughtful extras throughout, too – fresh and dried fruit and infused water.

For movement, there’s a light-filled yoga studio and a compact gym with all the essentials, including cardio machines, free weights and space for stretching or Pilates.

There are 37 rooms in total, spread across three buildings, with a range of categories to suit different tastes and budgets. For added privacy and space, there’s also the option to stay in a villa with its own private pool.

Design-wise, expect a welcoming mix of traditional and contemporary touches, with natural wood floors and soft neutral tones. Each room opens onto a terrace or courtyard.
