Set among the forested peaks of the UNESCO-listed Dolomites, Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti is the ultimate mountain retreat. Floor-to-ceiling windows, roaring fires, and soft leather seating welcome guests here, along with a 5,000-square-metre spa that ranks among the largest in the Alps.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a setting as spectacular as this. The Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti is nestled among forested peaks in the UNESCO-listed Dolomites, offering a peaceful base for exploring the mountains and recharging in its cosy interior.
The hotel is beautiful, decked out in materials like wood and stone to reflect the surrounding landscape. Expect floor-to-ceiling windows, roaring fireplaces, and squishy leather seats in lantern-lit nooks. Its 5,000-metre spa, meanwhile, is one of the biggest in the Alps, with top-notch facilities spread among four levels. Other highlights include a rooftop bar and a Michelin-starred restaurant.
In winter, guests have easy access to the slopes of the Madonna di Campiglio ski area, while summer opens up a world of alpine hikes through valleys, forests and glittering lakes.
Children are welcome, with under 11s accommodated in the Family Suite, Royal Pool & Spa Suite, and Lefay Residences. A kids’ club is available. Children are not permitted in the Grual Restaurant, the treatment and fitness areas, or the Lefay Spa indoor pools and saunas.
Just so you know, the hotel is closed between 12 April and 6 May 2026.
One of the largest spas in the Alps, Lefay Dolomiti is designed to relax the mind and invigorate the senses. Guests can enjoy authentic spa experiences in state-of-the-art surroundings, and fitness enthusiasts have 24-hour access to a well-equipped fitness centre. Tailored wellness programmes concentrate on everything from joint pain to Yin-Yang balance.
The sauna areas are particularly special here, and designed according to the Lefay SPA Method: circuits with varying temperatures, aromatherapy and humidity, tailored to each guest’s energetic condition. From the central hub, all areas are easily accessible – The Green Dragon, The Red Phoenix, The White Tiger, and The Black Tortoise – stages within a symbolic journey to restore energetic balance.
Other facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an indoor sports pool, saltwater whirlpool, heated saltwater lake, ice pool, Kneipp path, ice waterfall, and a handful of relaxation areas.
This all-suite hotel has just 88 rooms, all done out in calm neutral tones using natural materials and with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over the surrounding forested peaks. Expect high-tech mod-cons. There are a limited number or family suites available – ask for details. A tourist tax of €3 per person per night, and a city tax of €2 per person per night is payable at the end of your stay.
The resort is in the heart of the Madonna di Campiglio ski area, in Pinzolo, the largest town in the Rendena Valley. Nestled within a UNESCO-listed landscape, the surrounding mountains are protected by natural parks, and completely unspoiled. The nearest airport is Verona, a two-hour drive away. You can also fly into Milan, just 30 minutes further.
