About Paradis Plage

This tranquil eco-resort has a beachfront location on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, overlooking five kilometres of golden sand. A pioneer in sustainability, it’s a good-looking resort with a luxe, bohemian feel, and combines top-notch surf, yoga, and spa facilities for a wellness escape that’s as laid back or active as you choose to make it.

Guests can drop into daily yoga sessions in the beachfront shalas, take surf lessons at the on-site Rip Curl school, or unwind in the eco-spa which comes with traditional Moroccan hammams. Accommodation comes in the form of spacious, modern rooms, all with ocean, pool or garden views. With a choice of restaurants, sunshine nearly year-round, and a soulful vibe, it’s the perfect retreat for rest and renewal.

Just so you know, children are welcome at Paradis Plage. The Kids’ Club has daily games and activities for four to 12-year-olds, and there’s a babysitting service available for children under four.

Wellness at Paradis Plage

Wellness at Paradis Plage is centred around surf and yoga, with dedicated programmes both. Along with a surfing school and three daily yoga classes (sunrise at 7.30am, workshop at 9am, sunset at 5.30pm), guests can make the most of the beachfront fitness centre and a small spa using natural ingredients like argan oil and Moroccan orange blossom.

The spa is kitted out with a traditional hammam, whirlpool bath, outdoor massage space and indoor treatment rooms, plus space for cryotherapy, manicures and pedicures. There's also the main outdoor pool for al fresco dips.

Please note, there’s no yoga on Thursdays (dedicated to self-practice). Yoga classes are chargeable unless they're included in your spa programme.

What’s on the menu?

Paradis Plage has a simple philosophy – to serve organic and locally sourced food as much as possible. Net-fresh fish is sourced from the fisherman’s village adjacent to the resort, and you’ll find a mix of healthy and not-so-healthy options on the menu (this isn’t the place to detox), as well as local specialities and alcohol if you fancy a cocktail or two. Don’t miss the authentic tajines, which need ordering a day in advance as they take time to prepare.

Your accommodation at Paradis Plage

There are 106 suites at the resort – 25 Junior Suites and 40 Premium Suites. The rooms are super spacious (40% larger than typical hotel rooms, in fact), with modern, comfortable furnishings. Each has a private balcony. A local accommodation tax of 13,20 DHS per person, per day is payable at the resort.

Tourist tax payable at the resort DHS 13.20 per person per day.

Who Should Go

  • Yogis will love the revitalising yoga classes here 6 days a week, 3 times a day

LOCATION

Paradis Plage Resort is located on a five-kilometre-long sandy beach in Imi Ouaddar, away from the main tourist traps. Agadir’s giant souk and golden beach are around an hour’s drive away (as is the airport), but there are a few local small shops within walking distance. The hotel offers free return transfers to the city at 9am, midday, 3pm and 6pm daily. Day trips to magical Marrakesh are also easily arranged – it's a three-and-a-half-hour journey to the so-called Red City.

WHEN TO GO

This region of Morocco has a mild climate all year round and 340 days of sunshine a year.
