Overview
The extraordinary setting is just one reason to love this ultra-stylish resort, which is fringed by rugged mountains and overlooks a belt of sand on Oman’s Musandam Peninsula. Designed to mirror an authentic Omani village, it’s a sanctuary that feels both luxurious and welcoming, with design-led Arabic interiors and villas with private pools.
Wellness centres on the award-winning spa, which majors in holistic therapies and natural treatments. Elsewhere, you’ll find an infinity pool that winds down towards the shoreline, and a saltwater pool with a miniature island.
Dining is something special here – the centrepiece is an acclaimed mountaintop restaurant that shows off captivating sunsets. You can also look forward to meals on the sand, delicious regional dishes and in-room service.
Beyond the resort, the Musandam Peninsula offers everything from mountain hikes and paragliding to dhow cruises, snorkelling and village excursions, making this an ideal base for both relaxation and adventure.
Zighy Bay welcomes all ages. Chaica’s Club has activities for four to 10-year-olds, while teenagers have their own dedicated space with adventure hikes, wadi swimming and more. Families can also enjoy Cinema Paradiso, where films are screened on the beach under the stars.
