Overview
Marbella Club began life in the 1950s as a modest rural farmhouse estate, when Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe transformed it into a 20-room hideaway. It soon attracted a jet-set clientele, with the likes of Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn helping to cement the hotel – and Marbella – as a luxury destination. Today, it remains one of Spain’s most sought-after resorts, with a prime setting on Marbella’s glamorous ‘Golden Mile’ beachfront and countless press write-ups highlighting its credentials.
One of the Leading Hotels of the World, Marbella Club brags classic Andalusian architecture, super-smart interiors, and Mediterranean gardens with more than 400 tropical species. Its Thalasso Spa harnesses the healing powers of mineral-rich sea water, offering personalised treatments from an expert team, alongside lifestyle coaching, nutrition guidance, and a movement programme tailored to each guest.
Dining is just as carefully thought out, from healthy, chef-curated dishes to indulgent Mediterranean cuisine served in atmospheric settings. Other highlights include two palm-fringed pools, stylish rooms and direct access to sands freckled with daybeds and thatched parasols.
Families are welcome at Marbella Club, and there’s an excellent Kids’ Club with its own miniature village.
