About Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa

True to its name, Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa brings a touch of Southeast Asia to Spain. The resort’s design is inspired by Thai and Balinese styles, with tropical gardens, tranquil water features and exotic plants setting the scene. The location is worth shouting about, too – the resort is on the slopes of the Sierra Cortina mountain range, with stellar views over the Costa Blanca.

The sanctuary-like spa offers traditional Thai massage, and Balinese and Ayurvedic treatments delivered by therapists trained at Bangkok’s renowned Wat Po Temple. Yoga, meditation, Tai Chi and Chi Kung classes are also on offer, plus there are an impressive seven pools to choose from – including one that's adults only.

Gastronomy enthusiasts will feel right at home here, thanks to a variety of restaurants serving Asian fusion and Mediterranean flavours. Families are welcome, too, with a Pirates Children’s Club for four to 12-year-olds, a Junior Club for nine to 16-year-olds, and a Mini Club for toddlers.

Wellness at Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa

Wellness here is inspired by ancient Asian wisdom, with a focus on restoring balance and improving physical and spiritual wellbeing. The spa draws on Thai, Chinese and Indian therapies to release tension and rebalance energy, from traditional Thai stretching and Ayurvedic treatments to Balinese massage. Guests can also slow things down with yoga sessions or explore practices like Tai Chi and Chi Kung. All therapists are trained at Wat Po Temple in Bangkok, one of the most respected schools of Thai massage.

Facilities include five treatment rooms, an indoor pool (plus seven more outside!), a Turkish bath, solarium terrace, relaxation areas and a fully equipped gym.

Foodies will feel right at home here, with six restaurants, a snack bar and two bars to choose from. Enjoy Mediterranean and international flavours at the Udaipur buffet, relaxed lunches by the pool at Palapa, or fine dining at the In Black gourmet restaurant.

Other options include Lombocci for Italian classics, The Island for grilled meat and fish, an elegant Champagne Bar serving sushi, Koh Samui for oriental cuisine, and the informal Zen bar for light bites throughout the day.

The main buffet restaurant where breakfast is served. Guests on a pre-booked half board plan have dinner here, with a varied selection of Mediterranean and international dishes on offer.

LOCATION

Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa is close to Alicante, on the slopes of the Sierra Cortina with spectacular views over the Costa Blanca. The nearest beach is less than a 10-minute drive away, making it easy to combine mountain scenery with time by the sea. You've also got easy access to golf courses, boat tours, horse riding and Jeep safaris – ask the hotel team for more information. 

Alicante Airport is a 40-minute drive away. Alternatively, you can fly into Valencia – the journey takes around one hour and 20 minutes.

Incredibly nice hotel and grounds - heated swimming pool, spa and great gym area. There is a dedicated room for yoga, pilates and the other group lessons. Several restaurants, all of which we were happy with. Food on the expensive side but overall the hotel stay was good value.
