About Camiral Golf & Wellness

Surrounded by 300 hectares of tranquil Catalan countryside, Camiral Golf & Wellness is one of the Costa Brava’s most considered luxury retreats. Thanks to its peaceful location and state-of-the-art wellness facilities, it’s a great base for unwinding, but you’re within easy reach of Girona, Barcelona and the Mediterranean coast if you do want to get out and explore.

The wellness centre offers personalised programmes tailored to goals like fitness, relaxation and longevity. Whatever yours are, you can expect a mix of traditional therapies and advanced, technology-led treatments. Along with cutting-edge offerings like IV infusions and cryotherapy, you can soothe sore muscles in the thermal pavilion, practice Pilates or yoga in dedicated studios, or take part in guided exercise and recovery sessions.

Golf is a big talking point here, too, with two championship courses and a high-tech practice hub on-site. Other highlights? Two outdoor pools, a choice of restaurants, and family friendly activities like pottery and bicycle hire. 

Just so you know, this is a family friendly hotel, with a kids’ club for three to 15-year-olds. 


Wellness at Camiral Golf & Wellness

Choose from programmes designed for detox, fitness, longevity and general wellbeing. 

The wellness centre is a sanctuary for movement, recovery and relaxation, combining holistic healing with the latest high-tech therapies. These include whole-body cryotherapy, oxygen chamber sessions, IV infusions and low-level light therapy, which delivers energy to the cells to support pain relief, inflammation reduction and skin repair. All these technologies are designed to stimulate the body at a cellular level and work alongside natural treatments.

As for the facilities themselves? There’s a thermal pavilion with steam rooms (just six guests allowed at a time), a sauna, hot and cold plunge pools, a hammam, yoga studio, gym, relaxation area, and a brand-new Pilates studio equipped with Reformer machines. You'll also find tennis courts on-site.

Just so you know…

Guests on a wellness programme receive unlimited access to the facilities. Those booking a single treatment can access the thermal pavilion for 60 minutes before or after their session. Guests staying at Camiral without a spa treatment or wellness programme do not have access to the wellness facilities.

LOCATION

The hotel is in the heart of Catalonia in north-east Spain. The historic town of Girona is just 15 minutes away, and Barcelona is within an hour’s reach, so day trips to the iconic city are doable. While the hotel isn’t on the coast, the beaches of the Costa Brava – some of the most beautiful on the Iberian Peninsula – are just a 20 to 30-minute drive away.


Girona Airport is the closest, with transfers taking around 10 to 15 minutes. For a wider selection of airlines, Barcelona Airport is around 70 minutes away by car.
