About RAKxa Integrative Wellness

RAKxa Integrative Wellness is a world-leading health retreat within 85 acres of protected green space in Bang Krachao, just under an hour from central Bangkok. Also cocooned by the Chao Phraya River, it’s a setting that feel nicely secluded but with easy access to the city. Guests are provided with bicycles to explore the grounds at their own pace.

The retreat brings together advanced medical diagnostics and time-honoured Eastern healing systems, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and energy healing. Guests stay in expansive, design-led villas tucked among the greenery, and follow personalised programmes shaped by an in-house team of doctors, healers, physiotherapists, nutritionists, fitness trainers and chefs.

Wellness unfolds across beautifully curated spaces, from the Medical Gym to treatment suites offering hyperbaric oxygen therapy and cryotherapy. There’s also a tranquil outdoor pool, nourishing Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, and discreet one-to-one service.

Adults only RAKxa welcomes guests ages 16 years and over.

Wellness at RAKxa Integrative Wellness

RAKxa offers two personalised wellness pathways. Integrative Medical Programmes combine in-depth medical diagnostics with Eastern healing traditions such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, ideal for targeted goals including weight management, gut health, immunity or stress. Authentic Eastern Programmes, meanwhile, focus on restoration and balance, with fewer medical tests and a choice of Rest & Reset, Cleanse & Purify or Body Light programmes.

Wellness services are delivered across three areas. VitalLife Scientific Wellness Clinic, in partnership with Bumrungrad Hospital, provides diagnostics, consultations and advanced therapies including IV infusions, cryotherapy and infrared saunas. RAKxa Jai, the Holistic Wellness Centre, offers Eastern therapies, energy work and mind–body healing. Lastly, there’s The Medical Gym, which delivers tailored movement and fitness programmes, from physiotherapy and yoga to functional training and Thai boxing.

LOCATION

RAKxa is in Bang Krachao – often described as Bangkok’s ‘green lung’ – an oasis of jungle and mangroves circled by the Chao Phraya River. Despite the surrounding greenery and sense of seclusion, you’re just a 45-minute drive from the street food stalls and nightspots in central Bangkok.

Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports are around one hour away by car, with complimentary return airport transfers included with each wellness programme.

Bangkok airport is about 45 minutes away. For a more scenic arrival, guests can reach RAKxa by river. From Bang Na BTS station, it’s an eight-minute taxi ride to Wat Bangna Nok Pier, followed by a short 10-minute shuttle boat journey across the Chao Phraya River to the resort’s private pier.

WHEN TO GO

The summer season is March to June when temperatures can easily reach up to 35 degrees. July to August is usually when you can expect some rainfall, but this only lasts for 1-2 hours per day with bright sunshine in-between.
