Overview hotel
You’ll find the Haritha Villas + Spa in the south of Sri Lanka, surrounded by jungle greenery and gardens where monkeys and peacocks roam free. There’s a sandy beach close by, and a complimentary tuk-tuk runs back and forth – the journey takes just three minutes. It’s also just a 30-minute drive from the historic town of Galle, a vibrant, coastal city home to the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort. The resort can organise a wide range of local activities, from snorkelling, scuba diving and surfing to cycling, stilt fishing, and whale watching.
The closest airport is Koggala Airport, a 35 to 40‑minute drive away. If you’re flying into Bandaranaike Colombo Airport, expect a longer transfer of two-and-a-half to three hours.
When to go
Weather remains warm and sunny throughout most of the year. Best time to visit is from December to March. The most rainfall is in June.
