When deciding what to pack for your wellbeing holiday, it’s important to think about what activities you will be doing whilst you are there and what the weather will be like. Most of our resorts are casual and you’ll be in and out of fitness classes and spa treatments so comfort is key! If you’ve got specific questions which aren’t answered below, please contact us on +44 020 3735 7555.
Some of these might seem obvious but it’s always good to double check!
Essentials
- Travel documents – print out your flight boarding pass, VISA documents (if needed), booking invoice and know before you go document and save them onto your smartphone too
- Passport (with at least 6 months left)
- Tell your bank your travel plans – most banks allow you to do this online but if not, it can be easily done over the phone and means you won’t be caught out when spending abroad!
- Travel adapter – check on your ‘know before you go guide’ what voltage you’ll need and if you do forget, the reception can usually lend you one
Clothing
- Warmer Climates – we recommend packing light, cotton clothes such as summer dresses, t-shirts and shorts. For the evenings, take a pashmina or lightweight jacket to throw on
- Colder Climates – take layers so you can adjust when you go in and out of the spa and hotel. We recommend long trousers, t-shirts, jumpers and scarfs
- Fitness/yoga gear – pack leggings, tops and shorts – take multiple outfits if you’re expecting to do many different classes so you don’t have to worry about washing when you are there
- Evening clothes – honestly, there is no need to take anything too fancy with you. Most of our resorts are smart-casual so we recommend dresses, smarter trousers and tops for dinner
- Shoes – bring your trainers (for fitness classes) or hiking boots (if you’re planning to go walking). For warmer destinations a comfortable pair of sandals are the best option
- Robes/Slippers/towels – If you’re doing a spa programme, you’ll be provided with robes/slippers/towels either in your room upon arrival or when you arrive at the spa for your treatment
Toiletries
- Don’t forget your sun cream – It’s so important to keep your skin protected if you’re off to hotter climates - we recommend a paraben-free one to avoid unnecessary chemicals
- Mosquito-protection if you are going to an area where they are present - Citronella and lemongrass essential oils are good natural repellents and lavender oil will take away the itching
- Shampoo/Conditioner/Shower Gel – most hotels will provide complimentary toiletries so there’s no need to waste room in your suitcase with this. If you’re unsure whether your hotel does – please ask us
Extras
- For the journey – download a selection of books, films, podcasts and music for your journey
- Take some herbal teabags – pack your favourite herbal tea for the plane as there is usually not much choice and herbal tea is perfect for relaxing and hydrating
- Refillable water bottle – keeping hydrated is so important when travelling (especially if you are flying) we recommend that you drink 1 litre of water for every hour of your flight (it might mean that you need the toilet more but at least this gives you an excuse to get up!
- Healthy snacks - such as nuts, fruit, popcorn and energy balls for your journey
