Kate Henley
Kate holds a BSc in Acupuncture and has been in private practice since 1998. She is a holistic practitioner who is particularly interested in the emotional role of 'dis-ease' and uses acupuncture, massage, and dietary therapy as part of her treatment. With over two decades of experience in Chinese Medicine and supervision to support individuals re-balancing physical, emotional and spiritual health.
Kate will join us to guide us in Qi Gong Movement. Qi Gong is a traditional Chinese practice that combines physical postures, breathing techniques, and focused intention to cultivate and balance the flow of Qi (pronounced "chee").
Kate will also give us a talk about seasonal eating, living in tune with nature and adopting simple practices to find fulfilling purposeful relationships and lives. We will focus on the Autumn Season.
Claudia Roth
Claudia comes from a corporate work background, and fully understands the challenges most people face in today’s modern lifestyle. Several years ago, she traded in her role as a senior executive and her globe trotting career for an holistic lifestyle. Claudia has since become, a transformational coach, author and retreat facilitator as well as providing the most wonderful sound baths with her gong. She now dedicates her time to help individuals reach their best potential and understand who they really are and what is important to them.
Claudia will bring us pre sleep sound healing, meditations and a journaling workshop – you will also receive a copy of her book the Self Love Journal.
Stella Photi
Stella combined her passion for preventative health with her extensive travel industry experience to create award winning specialist travel company Wellbeing Escapes in 2005. This is when her quest began to make healthy breaks accessible and to offer down-to-earth objective advice on a wide range of wellbeing experiences.
In 2020 when Coronavirus emerged into the world Stella introduced the Wellbeing At Home community. The community was launched to help people learn about preventative health on a physical, mental and emotional level and to empower them to take charge of their own health. For over 3 years, Stella has broadcast free weekly educational talks with top doctors, nutritionists, life coaches and a whole host of wellbeing specialists to her audience as her way of being of service at a time of need.
Stella will guide us through a workshop with tools to manage stress including the HeartMath Experience she has trained in to help people regain balance.
Sophie Benge
Sophie works with women to guide them to reconnect with their innate feminine nature as a source of healing and happiness.
She combines 30 years’ experience working in the international wellness industry as an author, journalist and consultant, as well as what she has learnt on her personal journey. On this retreat she offers her unique ‘Meditation in Touch’ treatment, that takes her to spas around the world. It’s a slow, deep massage where she travels sensitively round your abdomen, chest, neck, shoulders, head and face to release tension and restore energy flow.
She says, ‘Our bodies that store so much, yearn to be heard as much as we do.’
Please note, Sophie's treatments can be booked separately at an extra cost. We will have limited slots for treatments so we recommend pre booking.
Tara Mcleod Williams
Tara is part of the team at Wellbeing Escapes and is also a qualified yoga teacher with particular experience and training in yoga therapy and treating trauma through yoga.
Tara will guide us through a restorative yoga class and some breathing and grounding techniques.
Beth Lynch – Massage Therapist
Beth has over 30 years of experience and will be on hand to provide relaxing, therapeutic massages to soothe the body and mind for those who would like to book a treatment with her. (at an extra cost). We will have limited slots for treatments so we recommend pre booking
