Find out what happened when team member Lisa visited one of Europe’s most luxurious spa resorts. She talks us through Anassa's Thalassa Spa, serene beachfront setting, and holistic wellness experiences.

Anassa oozes luxury all the way – think cooling marble finishes, beautiful fabrics and furniture, pretty gardens and planting and lots of space to spread out. It's very relaxing and you certainly won't feel you have to stand on ceremony despite your plush surroundings. The team are very kind and you can tuck yourself away in a quiet corner or on the beach when you want total relaxation.
It's divine, there really is no other word! The Roman-style indoor swimming pool is flooded with light and has recliners all around it. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi pool, 18 treatment rooms, sauna, steam room and a thalasso pool with jets at various heights to reach all parts of your body, plus much more.
There are healthy and delicious choices for all tastes, and you'll love the various styles of the restaurants, too. I really liked The Pelagos, which is styled like a traditional taverna and lordy, the food is yummy – you must try the meatballs!
There's a gym with all the necessary shiny equipment, but you can also play tennis, take part in group yoga classes and do lots of watersports.
Fresh and airy is the look with modern bathrooms and views across the beautiful grounds or sea. Splash out and upgrade if you are here for a treat or special occasion!
Be sure to try one of the many thalasso spa treatments. Sea water is incredibly healing and restorative, and you will feel tip-top afterwards.
Those who like the finer things in life and want quality assured. You definitely get what you pay for. Everything is excellent and the service is first class. It could be romantic for couples, but I'd go solo too and just spend my days in the spa area – it has everything you could need.
