We have teamed up with Broughton Hall & Avalon Wellbeing centre to deliver you personalised retreats. The retreats are curated by Wellbeing Escapes founder Stella Photi in conjunction with the team at Avalon and will be tailored exactly for your needs and goals. Avalon is a unique, state of art wellbeing centre which provides an exquisite space for self-exploration and transformation. Avalon facilities such as indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hydromassage pool or meditation pod would be available for your sole use. Healthy menus are created by their skilled chefs and available at Utopia restaurant or in a comfort of your cottage. Surrounded by 3,000 acres of beautiful landscape, The Broughton Hall Estate is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, perfect place for some well deserved rest and relaxation.

Wellness

Avalon Wellbeing Centre is a state-of-the-art Wellbeing Centre, part of the Broughton Hall Estate. Facilities include 20m pool, sauna, steam room, hydromassage pool, meditation pod, conscious library, relaxation room and PT studio. Access to these facilities is included in the retreat price. Avalon has a no shoe policy - please bring a pair of indoor slippers or socks.

Rooms

You will be staying at the Mill Cottage. This cottage is situated in the old water mill and overlooking the water wheel, this two bedroom cottage is set within a cobbled courtyard and is a 5-minute walk to Avalon and Utopia restaurant. Mill Cottage has been updated to give a truly retro feel both in design and furnishings, with bright and comfortable interiors.

Private Cottage

Two comfortable bedrooms with super king-size beds and high quality bedding.

Spacious dining area with large table and chairs and snug areas to relax and unwind in.

Living area with a cosy wood burner, TV and writing desk.

A large well equipped kitchen, complete with all modern appliances, completes the ground floor.

You will have full board included in your personalised retreat. Meals can be tailored to your needs. Please speak to us about your goals and Chef will prepare menu for you. Vegan options are available.

Location

Surrounded by 3,000 acres of beautiful landscape, The Broughton Hall Estate is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The hall has been passed down through thirty-three generations of the Tempest family who have nurtured the estate.

By car

By Road

Broughton is situated at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. The main road that runs by the Estate is the A59 and the nearest town is Skipton. When travelling from Skipton bear left 200 metres past The Bull Inn. When travelling from Lancashire, follow signs to Skipton, turn right 200 metres after the A59/A56 roundabout. The postcode for SatNav is: BD23 3AE.

By Rail

Trains run frequently from Skipton railway station to all parts of the UK. There is a direct service to and from London King’s Cross/St Pancras. You will have to change in Leeds.

A taxi from Skipton station to Broughton Hall takes around 5-10 minutes and costs approximately £10.
