I’ve just returned from the most wonderful stay at Minos Palace in Crete, and I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and, most importantly, the incredible team who work there.
This was a particularly meaningful holiday for me — my first much-needed break after undergoing several surgeries. I arrived still feeling quite vulnerable, so finding somewhere I could feel safe, comfortable and genuinely cared for was incredibly important to me.
From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel completely at ease. There was such genuine warmth, kindness and attentiveness throughout my stay that I never felt like I was simply another hotel guest — I felt truly looked after.
The service was exceptional across every part of the hotel. From the warm welcome at reception and the wonderfully attentive restaurant team, to the poolside staff who made it so easy to simply relax and switch off, nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
The spa was another highlight. Everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and my massage was absolutely incredible — genuinely one of the best treatments I have experienced and exactly what I needed. The housekeeping team also deserve a special mention for being so friendly, thoughtful and helpful throughout my stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stunning setting and everything you would expect from a luxury property, but what really sets Minos Palace apart is its people. There is a genuine warmth and humanity to the service that you don’t always find, even in luxury hotels.
After everything I had been through, this holiday was about much more than simply getting away. I needed somewhere I could rest, recover, feel safe and begin to feel like myself again — and Minos Palace gave me exactly that.
I left feeling rested, restored and incredibly grateful, with some very special memories.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire Minos Palace team for taking such wonderful care of me and making an important holiday so special. I will absolutely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful hotel.

As a first time solo lady traveller, I felt instantly comfortable and content at Siddhalepa and the staff there were amazing, so kind and caring. I had the best room on the property (506) and really enjoyed the peace to sit near the beach between treatments. I would wholeheartedly recommend Wellness Escapes for booking and Siddhalepa if you are looking for authentic ayurvedic treatment - very prescriptive but very healing.

Lovely hotel and spa but there are some small design issues where form has precedence over substance. When the balcony / patio doors are open the AC cuts out but the doors cannot be closed from the outside so if one person is outside the parties inside have to go without AC. Twin beds were simply separate bedding and no distance. Fitness Classes were held in an outside covered hut which was way too hot. The spa and treatments were wonderful. The food was delicious and of a high quality but surprisingly the labelling for desserts did not differentiate the vegetarian ones. And the staff were very friendly and efficient.

I spent a week at NOŪS Santorini as a solo traveller and had an exceptional stay. The service was outstanding throughout — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful.
A real highlight was the unexpected room upgrade to a beautiful suite with my own private pool, which was such a pleasant surprise and made the stay feel extra special. The hotel is stylish, peaceful, and very well maintained — perfect for switching off.
One small suggestion would be adding water refill machines around the main areas, which would be very welcome in the Santorini heat! Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended, especially for solo travellers. Special thanks to Anna in the spa, and Elpida and Clement at the breakfast service who were especially lovely.

Glorious week of wellness at Longevity Senses in Caiscais. The variety and quality of treatments in our program was superb and I achieved all goals of re-energizing and motivation. The lead therapists and trainers were excellent (Yoga, Personal Training, special shout out to the Osteopath), and our program was well organized, though we did have a couple of schedule mistakes throughout the week. The Hotel was charming, welcoming and comfortable. The Sea Sense restaurant was wonderful serving delicious food healthfully prepared. The breakfast buffet was a highlight and special shoutout to Jaime/James the night maitre d' who brought a significant level of service and panache. And the proximity to Caiscais was an added benefit. A great boutique hotel with extraordinary benefits!

We've never been to a wellbeing escape before so we didn't know what to expect. We chose the Get in Shape course as we have desk jobs and need to get in shape before it's too late.
We had a fabulous time, lots of gym sessions, classes, massages and a beautiful pool with massaging jets.
The food was also great. It's close to the beach so evening walks along the promenade we lovely, plus you can join group walks before breakfast. We usually found a couple of hours to sit by the pool. My husband is not keen on exercise, but.... he's said he would go back!

Having booked Kamalaya through Wellbeing Escapes, it was a seamless process from beginning to end. Rebecca at Wellbeing Escapes was absolutely brilliant and so helpful doing every stage of the booking experience and after excellent! Kamalaya itself was a truly unique experience. The place is like paradise on Earth everybody there is exceptional at what they do. It was a truly healing experience in every sense from the ambience the setting surrounded by nature. Not only is the island of Madeira beautiful; Galomar is situated in an amazing position, the views are breathtaking. The staff were professional but friendly and very helpful. Everywhere was very clean. The food (buffet) was varied and plentiful. I did not use the spa facilities on this occasion, so I cannot comment but if the rest of the hotel is anything to go by, it will be excellent.

Under an hour transfer from the airport, we arrived as a lovely hotel set in beautifully landscaped grounds on the beach. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, be that carrot juice in the morning, cleaning the accommodation or assisting on activities. Very chilled and relaxed vibe not at all withstanding some children still on half term. The prestige suite was very spacious and will benefit from a refurbishment when that happens but it was perfectly clean. All the food was amazing from local and traditional dishes that we tried (we were there during Ramadan), to salads, fresh fish and burgers). We booked a package which included spa treatments and yoga, and everything we took part in was amazing, one of the best massages we’ve had and very attentive yoga instructors (the location and view from the class setting was fabulous!). All in all a very pleasant trip and we hope to return.
